As Nova Scotians, we’ve seen first hand the effects of poor fishing practices. It’s a growing problem on a local and a global scale, and we understand that our customers – as well as our suppliers – are concerned with reversing that trend.
At Pete’s Fine Foods we source a wide selection of our seafood from responsibly managed fisheries and fish farms. We aim to provide our customers with sustainable and ethical options whenever we can, including sustainably caught sushi-grade tuna, salmon, and harvested shellfish from Nova Scotia. Helping to maintain healthy ecosystems and prevent the further depletion of the oceans’ fish population is part of our commitment to sustainability in all that we do.
