Autumn Citrus Spritzer 

Ingredients:

• 1 cup water 
• 1/2 cup sugar 
• 1 bunch rosemary, divided 
• Pete’s Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice 
• Third Place Cocktail Co. “Holiday Wassail” 
• Sparkling mineral water 
• Lemon, sliced 
• Orange, sliced 
• Kumquats, sliced 

For simple syrup: 

In a small sauce pot over medium-low heat, combine water and sugar with 3 sprigs rosemary (rubbed between fingers to release aromas), 2 slices of both lemon and orange and a handful of kumquats. Bring to a low boil and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and allow to simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside and cool completely. 

For each guest: combine 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup sparkling water, 1/8th cup Holiday Wassail cocktail mix, 3 Tbsp simple syrup as prepared above. Place 1 lemon slice, 1 orange slice, 3 kumquat slices, 1 sprig of rosemary and ice in glass. Pour drink in to glass and enjoy immediately. May also be served with gin or your favourite liquor. Enjoy!
