Blueberry Jalapeno Faux-jito
This mocktail version of a mojito has a kick of spice from jalapeno, all the blueberry flavour you love, a sparkle from club soda and a refreshing hint of lime and mint. Perfect for summer patio days!
Prep time: 5 minutes
- 3 slices jalapeno (remove seeds if you don’t like too much spice)
- 1/2 lime, thinly sliced
- 5 mint leaves
- 1 tsp honey or agave nectar
- 3 Tbsp Healthy Berries Wild Blueberry Purée
- Club Soda
In a glass, place jalapeno and mint, muddle with the end of a wooden spoon, fairly hard, 5-10 times, to release their flavours. Add lime and muddle 2-3 more times. Add honey and blueberry purée, stir gently. Add desired amount of ice. Top with club soda and garnish with mint, lime and jalapeno. Enjoy immediately!
