This festive cocktail showcases delicious local Haskap juice and is sure to impress your guests during for New Year’s Eve. It’s akin to the classic Kir Royale with a little extra flair!

Ingredients:

• 1 oz. gin or vodka
• 5 oz. Hazzberry Farms Haskap Juice
• 25 oz. honey syrup*
• 3 dashes Fee Brothers Lemon Bitters
• 5 oz. dry sparkling wine

For an alcohol free version try these substitutions:

• 1 oz. Seedlip Grove 42 (replacing the gin or vodka)
• 5 oz. Rotkäppchen Sparkling Wine

Method:

• shake all ingredients (except sparkling wine) over ice
• strain into cocktail glass
• top with sparkling wine

Honey Syrup:

• combine 1/2 cup honey with 1/4 cup warm water and stir
• chill in the refrigerator until ready to use
