Strawberry Mojito: Using Wana Bana

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 lime wedges, approx. 1/4 medium sized lime
  • 2 medium sized strawberries
  • 2 tsp. simple syrup
  • 3 tsp. Wana Bana Strawberry Pulp
  • 2 oz. White Rum (or leave this out for a mocktail)
  • Club Soda / Soda Water (we love BLU carbonated spring water-find it in store)
  • Ice, crushed

Recipe:

  • Muddle mint, strawberries, lime wedges in the bottom of 10-12oz chilled goblet or highball glass. Crush strawberries and mint leaves well
  • Add simple syrup, Wana Bana Strawberry Pulp, rum and stir
  • Fill the glass with ice and top with soda, stir gently
  • Garnish with mint sprigs, strawberry slice and/or lime wheel

Wana Bana is a new product in our stores. These pulps can be used for smoothies or cocktails!

Note: A basic simple syrup is a 1:1 ratio of sugar dissolved in water. Make a large batch and keep on hand in the refrigerator.

Tip: put ice cubes in a blender and pulse for crushed ice
