Candied Cinnamon Almonds

These candied almonds are as simple as it gets, only two ingredients and 10 minutes and you have the perfect salad topper or snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 container Pete’s Own Roasted and Salted Almonds
  • 1 bottle Acadian Maple Cinnamon Infused Maple Syrup

Directions:

In a large pan over medium heat, pour in maple syrup. Allow to start bubbling, add almonds. Cook stirring 5-10 minutes until maple syrup has almost evaporated, making sure to smell, if you smell the maple syrup getting too dark, lower heat slightly and continue stirring. Pour almonds on to a piece of lightly greased parchment paper, using spoon to break up slightly. Allow to cool completely and break in to smaller pieces. Enjoy!
