Salted Caramel & Chocolate Mug Cake
Mug cake is the perfect 5 minute dessert to make with the kids… or have all to yourself once they’ve gone to bed.
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
- 1/4 cup Enjoy Life Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 3 T Coops Micro Creamery Salted Caramel Sauce
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 5 Tbsp white sugar
- 1/4 cup flour (can use gluten free, if desired)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Splash of vanilla
- Dark chocolate
- Salted caramel
- Whipped cream
Place milk, chocolate chips and caramel sauce in a large mug. Stir to combine. Place in microwave, on high, for 30 seconds, remove and add butter, stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds and stir to combine.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine, ensuring all flour lumps have been broken up. Microwave again, on high, for 1 minute and 30 seconds, check to see if cake is cooked. Continue to cook in 30 second intervals until cooked through. Garnish with whipped cream, salted caramel and dark chocolate and enjoy!
